About

Hi, I’m Chad Stewart — owner and founder of Quik Grips.
My love for golf started back when I was a kid growing up in Wyoming. A family friend was the head golf professional at the country club in Riverton, and I spent time around the course cleaning clubs in exchange for range balls and rounds of golf. I loved everything about the game — junior camps, tournaments, being around the course, and hitting hundreds of old range balls into the field behind our house after my dad brought home boxes of them from the pro shop.
In 2014, my family moved to Idaho, and I instantly fell in love with the golf community here. While baseball was my primary sport growing up, golf was always something I enjoyed and stayed connected to.
In 2020, I moved to Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University. That winter, I got a job at the historic Wigwam Golf Resort, where I worked from 2020 through 2023. Working at the Wigwam allowed me to spend every day around golf while learning more about the industry and the operations behind great golf experiences.
In the summer of 2021, I moved back to Idaho and worked at SpurWing Country Club in Meridian before returning to Arizona later that year to continue working at the Wigwam while attending GCU.
In the spring of 2022, I was introduced to on-site golf club re-gripping for the first time. Seeing grips installed right there at the golf course — quickly, professionally, and conveniently — immediately sparked my interest. I learned the craft, brought the concept back to Idaho, and began re-gripping clubs at golf courses throughout the Treasure Valley during the summer of 2022.
Later that fall, I returned to Arizona to continue attending Grand Canyon University, working at the Wigwam, and re-gripping clubs at courses throughout the Phoenix area. During that time, I continued developing my own style, system, and vision for what I believed a modern golf grip business could become.
In 2023, Quik Grips was officially born.
What started as weekends at local golf courses quickly grew into partnerships with courses all across the Treasure Valley. From tournaments and league nights to member events, mobile appointments, golf simulators, trade shows, and swap meets — Quik Grips continued to grow through relationships, hard work, and an incredible golf community.
Over the years, I’ve re-gripped thousands and thousands of clubs and worked with golfers of every skill level. One thing has always stayed the same: I truly enjoy helping golfers find the right grip setup for their game.
In February 2026, Quik Grips had its first booth at the Boise Golf Show — a huge milestone that inspired me to fully commit to growing the business. In March 2026, with the support of my amazing fiancée, my family, and my faith in God, I stepped away from my full-time position and took a leap of faith to pursue Quik Grips full-time.
Today, Quik Grips proudly services golf courses and golfers throughout the Treasure Valley, Twin Falls, McCall, and beyond. We specialize in on-site and mobile golf club re-gripping with quick turnaround times, custom grip fittings, and professional installation — often in about one minute per grip.
More than anything, I’m incredibly thankful to be part of the Idaho golf community. The people, the courses, the local businesses, and the relationships built through this game have been unbelievable. I truly feel blessed that golf courses have become my office, and I’m excited for what’s ahead as Quik Grips continues to grow.
Thank you for supporting Quik Grips.
